We have handcrafted a limited number of these book page holders out of locally sourced apple wood. We locally sourced the apple wood right from the heart of the Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia!
(Yes, we actually hand selected the apple wood from an orchard, loaded it into our truck, allowed it to dry and then milled up the wood). Apple wood has such a wonderful variety of coloration, which makes it one of our favorite wood species to work with.
How do they work? These book page holders, or “thumbring” book page holders make reading more comfortable by holding your pages securely with no effort, which makes them great for those with arthritis or other conditions. You just wear it like a thumb ring!
